Montana has been my home for over 20 years now. I grew up in a little town in northern Mississippi. I moved to Montana in 2000 to finish my degree in Fine Art at Montana State University. That’s when I met the love of mine after just 3 days in this beautiful state. I now live in Helena, Montana with my husband, Tom, 3 children; Knox, Gage, and Piper, and our puppy child Ayla. I can say without a doubt that it is where I am meant to be.
I absolutely love capturing life through photographs! I have had a camera in my hand since I was about 9 or 10 when my parents gave me my first 35mm point and shoot. As I got older, my cameras got a little fancier. The relationships that I make with all the wonderful people I meet are the next best thing to being behind the camera. Hearing and seeing your stories fills my heart and feeds my soul. Knowing that I can preserve a small part of the life you are creating with your love for years and generations to come makes my job my passion.
As with all of my couples, I am with you from start to finish. We will have an engagement session that is specifically tailored to who you are together. Whether we take a hike in the mountains, visit your favorite brewery, or cuddle on the couch in your pj’s, your session will be unique to you. As the wedding day approaches, we’ll iron out all of the details from the start of your special to the very end when the lights go dim. I am there every step of the day to capture all of your intimate moments with your love and those who are there to celebrate with you. Nothing is missed and your memories will be forever preserved in photographs that you and generations to come can visit over and over again. My favorite moment is when you receive your photos, canvases, and albums that will remind you of your perfect day for the rest of your lives together.
