There is something so special about a timeless wedding. It is not unusual for couples to get overwhelmed by wedding inspiration on social media. While Instagram and Pinterest are excellent sources of inspiration, many couples lose sight of the fact that the most important part of the wedding day is its authenticity!
We are enamored by Corie & Mason’s fresh and timeless summer wedding in Montana. Featuring bright & bold florals, a classic bride & groom getup, and whole-hearted, genuine emotion, this celebration is truly one for the books! This charming wedding was photographed by Cheers MT Vendor, Kelly Van Dyke Photography! Based in Helena, MT, Kelly is passionate about capturing the wedding photos that you’ve always dreamed of!
I understand that my duties go far beyond just capturing images for the most important day of your life. I look for couples that want to have a relationship with their photographer so that they feel like I am just another friend celebrating with them on their wedding day! I take pride in serving my couples from the moment they inquire to the day their images are delivered!Kelly Van Dyke Photography
Their Love Story Begins
“And when your heart knows, it knows, there’s no explaining it. You can only trust it.” — The Better Man Project
Mason and Corie first met in the dorms at Montana State University. While they first started out as very close friends, they both knew all along that the relationship would eventually transform into something bigger. What’s meant to be will always find a way!
One night Mason and Corie kissed, and the rest is history!
You know you’ve found your person when they are genuinely happy in your best of times and are always there for you when you’re down.
Mason planned his big moment for a beautiful snowy day in January. As Corie puts it:
I ended up having a pretty bad morning at work and mason convinced me to take a long lunch and go for a hike to clear my head. We headed up to one of our favorite meadows and I thanked him for cheering me up. He got down on one knee and promised to try and cheer me up on bad days for the rest of my life!Corie Bowditch, Bride
Wearing a beautiful lace a-line gown from After 5 and Weddings, a Bozeman-based bridal shop, Corie was absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day. Showing off her incredible natural beauty, she wore a subtle makeup look and a beautiful boho-chic braid styled by Mountain Soul Event Styling.
For a bold & timeless groom getup, we’ve always loved a navy blue suit! There is something about a navy blue suit that simply exudes confidence and sophistication. Mason looked so dapper on his wedding day!
The Bridal Party
It is so special to be surrounded by your closest friends, family, and loved ones for the transition from engagement to a married couple!
The bridal party’s sweet adoration for the beautiful bride was so evident by how much fun they were having simply showering her with the most kind and energetic love they could. From dancing to singing, I just soaked it all in smiling and thinking, “This is what wedding days should be!” Full of excitement for a new chapter in life, and a total celebration with no holding back!Kelly Van Dyke, Photographer
We are loving these mismatched mauve bridesmaid gowns which perfectly complemented the groomsmen’s classic navy blue suits!
Details, details, details! In our opinion, the small little things are actually the big things. There’s nothing like some custom floral arrangements, beautiful invitation suites, or custom wardrobe accents to give your big day some personality!
The details of Mason & Corie’s wedding were truly second to none. From their bright & beautiful floral design to their rose gold rings, and especially Corie’s “something blue” heels, their big day had so much personality!
My favorite moment was walking down the aisle in a beautiful mountain meadow, seeing the faces of family and friends from all walks of life, and Mason waiting for me at the end. It was such a magical happy moment that Is burned in my memory forever.Corie Bowditch, Bride
During Corie & Mason’s beautiful outdoor ceremony in Montana, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! Surrounded by the beautiful MT scenery, those they hold near and dear to their heart, a unique arbor, and beautiful floral ornamentations, they said their “I Dos” in paradise!
My favorite moment was seeing Corie for the first time, as beautiful as ever, smiling ear to ear, walking down the aisle, through all our closest family and friends. The tears couldn’t be held back and I will never forget how she looked!Mason Bowditch, Groom
Corie & Mason’s wedding was hosted at the beautiful Great Divide Ski Area in Marysville, MT! Located at the top of the Meadow Mountain chairlift, this venue features a romantic location for any soon-to-be-weds to exchange their vows with panoramic views of Montana’s grandeur!
With a passion for skiing and a love for the outdoors, this beautiful location was the perfect venue for this lovestruck couple! The wedding at Great Divide Ski Area will be unforgettable for so many. Corie and Mason’s love for the beauty of Montana was evident in every detail of their wedding day.
